Our premiere production was an original
play
This production is dedicated to Jerry Croney PLAYWRIGHT NOTES One Week: An Uncommon Love Story was written out of necessity. I had five actors and I needed a story for them. Beyond necessity however, One Week was written out of a deep awareness that before anything else in this wide world, we desperately need one another in our search for love, acceptance and a place to call home. One Week is a play that delves into these innate longings, these desperate desires that drive us towards one another in a world madly spinning on its axis. If we are lost, how do we find our way home? How do we know it's home when we get there? One Week speaks to our longing to be connected, to belong, to have a place and a people we can call our own – One Week is an uncommon love story. Note: Quotes from Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book were borrowed to tell this story.

Our second show of the season was an October 2010 Production; The Obituary written by Lisa Jayne.
Starring Alex Brown, Haylee Bucey and Katie Brown. The Obituary, tells the story of twenty-four year old Skyy Woods, who has been her alcoholic mother's only caretaker for the last 15 years, and is now left to take care of all her mother's funeral arrangements. When Skyy's older siblings, Marnie, who left home at 17, and her never-do-well older brother, Jager, show up, her only request is that they help her write their mother's obituary. As the obituary takes shape, so does the picture of who Donna was to each of these grown children, and the indelible mark she made on each of them; for good or for ill. As they delve into her personal papers for information about a mother they each thought they knew; revelations, secrets and betrayals abound. Inevitably the three siblings discover that perhaps the only legacy their mother left to them was the gift of each other. Performances ran October 8, 9, 10*, 15, 16, 22, 23* (*matinee)
